About

Welcome!

Jeanette Windham began the Society in 1983 as a service to all of Guilford County. It has now grown throughout the Piedmont Triad. Our purpose is to provide a venue for garden enthusiasts to gain greater knowledge of plants, their culture and usage, and to network with others who share these interests. Both experienced and novice gardeners are welcome to join.

Growing Together

It's about your garden, but it's also about making lasting connections and having a good time!

Join us for regular meetings and special events

**Due to COVID-19, All Meetings will be virtual until further notice.** Meetings are held at the Greensboro Science Center, 4301 Lawndale Drive, Greensboro, NC, at 7:15 pm on the third Monday of the month, starting in September. There is no meeting in December, and the January meeting is on an alternate Monday to accommodate the Martin Luther King holiday.

The annual Symposium is held the last Saturday of February or the first Saturday of March. Monday night meetings continue through May.

The picnic in June concludes the Society’s calendar. Please check the programs page, or contact us for additional information.
